Intro to Meditation
Meditation, is an existential treasure and a cutting edge self growth practice. It’s a tool for all around healing, offering emotional and psychological calibration, mind body relaxation, mindfulness and personal reflection, with a track record supporting studies. With such an intro, It is quite ironic that meditation suffers from the lack of hype that other ‘self improvement’ practices receive (such as diets, workout routines etc..) but there’s a reason for that .
Everyone knows meditation is good for them, right? But very few manage to make it a daily part of their lives. Also, there’s a common notion that meditation is hard, that meditation is boring, and so my personal mission is to make the meditation introductory curve the smoothest and most fun and relaxing experience. To show you that not only is Meditation for everyone, but like breathing and sleeping, meditation is a natural state of being that fills us with energy and joy. It is the ‘Art of Being’ that for some of us, was quite a well known visceral experience up until not too long ago during our early infancy, which can be remembered once again. A good meditation, is kind of like taking a vacation from your mind, from your ego, from your entire self – Who would wanna miss on that?
Is Meditation hard or boring?
To some, Meditation may inflict a challenging introductory curve when initiated without proper direction, but I have meditated with great dedication for almost three decades now, and I’m convinced that meditation is the simplest’ most valuable practice that one can adopt quite easily. It’s actually not boring at all, on the contrary, meditation is mysteriously intriguing and offers great insight into our inner psychological architecture. The trick with introducing people to the practice, is to allow them to taste the ’Sweet Spot’ of Meditation sooner than later, by stacking sound & breath techniques with proper guidance it’s very possible. Once you experience a meditative state, even for a moment, you would realize that meditation is one of the simplest, easiest, most laid back activities. It’s a rest in the being that you are.
